Introduction to Nursing Training Center

护理学院实验中心始建于20世纪70年代，从基础护理实验室、临床护理实验室、护理综合实验室发展而来，实行校院两级管理。经过近几年的扩改建，中心在教学规模、实验条件、师资力量和教学质量等方面有了快速发展。2006年被评为九江学院重点实验室，2008年被评为九江学院实验教学示范中心。

The Nursing Training Center was established in 1970’s. It has been developed based on the lab of basic nursing, clinical nursing and comprehensive nursing. The center develops rapidly in the number of students ,experiment condition,quality of teachers and quality of teaching over several years of development.In 2006, it was granted as one of the key labs by Jiujiang University and renamed as Nursing Training Center.In 2008, it was granted as Practical Teaching Demonstrating Center in Jiujiang University.

实验中心拥有健康评估实验室、内外科护理实验室、妇产科护理实验室、儿科护理实验室、心理护理实验室、基础护理实训室、康复护理实训室、无菌技术实训室及健康教育实训室等，并建有模拟病房、模拟手术室、重症监护室、示教室、计算机学习室以及网络教学资源等。2008年获得中央与地方共建项目，建设社区护理综合实验室。总面积约1 700m²，拥有各种基础护理训练人体模型、健康评估人体模型、安保人体训练模型、心脏急救监护装置、心电监护仪、可控同步呼吸机、高级分娩及母亲急救模型、婴儿光疗暖箱、生物反馈仪等先进的教学仪器，设备台件数254件，设备总值达178万余元。

The Center covers 9 labs namely health assessment room, medical-surgical nursing room, gynecologic and obstetric nursing room, psychological nursing room, basic nursing room, rehabilitative nursing room, aseptic technique room and health education room and etc. There are also simulated ward, simulated operation room, ICU room, demonstration room ,computer room and internate teaching resourses. In 2008,The Center acquired the Center And Local Government project so as to establish the community comprehensive laboratory which covers a total of construction area of 1700 m2. It has 254 items with a total value of 17.8 million yuan (RMB) including basic nursing human body training models, health assessment human body training model,EMT human body training model, cardiac care monitor device, electrocardiogram monitor, controllable synchronous respirator, advanced childbirth and mother emergency care model, infant phototherapy warm trunk , biofeedback device and etc.

实验中心面向护理学、临床医学等专业的本专科学生，主要承担《护理学基础》、《健康评估》、《内科护理学》、《外科护理学》、《妇产科护理学》、《儿科护理学》、《急救护理学》、《护理管理学》、《常用护理技术》、《康复护理》、《中医护理与理疗技术》等课程的实验教学。开设实验课程26门，实验实训项目132个，并面向学生课外开放实验室，以满足学生的基本技能训练需要。

The Nursing  Skills Center opens to medical and nursing students. It offers practical teaching for subjects including Fundamentals of Nursing, Health Assessment, Medical Nursing, Surgical Nursing, Gynecologic and Obstetric Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing Management, Common Nursing Skills,Rehabilitative Nursing,Chinese Medical Nursing and Physical Therapy. The Center offers 19 training courses and 133 practical skill items .The Center also opens to students to meet the need of skill training in their spare time.

实验中心拥有一支业务素质较高、实践能力较强、教风严谨的师资队伍，现有实验教师17人，实验技术人员3人；其中高级职称8人，中级职称9人；硕士学历8人，在读博士1人，在读硕士4人。教师积极参加教学研究，已完成教育部课题1项，省级课题7项，市级和校级课题7项，发表教学研究论文40余篇。自编多种实验教学指导书，主编和参编专业课程教材30余本。获江西省教学成果二等奖和九江市科技进步二等奖。

The center has the high profession quality,seriously faculty members.Among its faculty members, there are 17 training teachers ,3 technicians, 8 high professional title, 9 middle professional title, 8 graduates, 1 learning doctor and 4 learning graduates.. Teaching faculty have completed 1 project sponsored by the Ministry of Education, 7 provincial level projects, 7 municipal and university level projects and published more than 40 articles,compiled many training teaching direction,edited more than 30 textbooks. it won the second prize of teaching achievement in Jiangxi province and tthe second prize of technology in Iiujiang city.
 中心建立健全实验教学管理制度，规范实验操作程序，改进实验教学方法，促进学生实践能力、创新思维和综合素质的提高，努力将实验中心建设成为理念先进、特色鲜明、管理规范的现代化护理实验实训基地。

The Center strengthens lab management, standardized the skill procedure and improve the practical teaching methods. It is now struggling for the goal of a advanced philosophy,bright characteristic and standard management ,modern nursing training base.
